I know that you usually prefer options over stocks in your portfolio, are you recommending Uber stock in this case? – Charmaine

Thanks for the question, Charmaine! Yes, I prefer options over stocks. However, Uber is a stock that I’m willing to buy now and look for a potential options play in the future.

Are we mistiming the market by becoming more aggressive this late in the market cycle? – An Embarrassed Investor

Thanks for the question! Nothing to be embarrassed about here. Make sure to read Monday’s article as your question inspired me to write about “timing” the market.

In short, however, investing nearly always comes down to your specific time horizon. The shorter you’re planning to invest, the more that “timing” the stock market becomes important.

I’d also push back on the assumption that we’re “late in the market cycle.” We’ve been hearing fears of a recession/depression/downturn for 15 years. Yet, the market has continued to rise in the face of uncertainty. Why is this time different?

Can you give me some details on how this works? How do we follow your trading or investing method? Is there a percentage risk per position on what we take? Is there a minimum account size to follow you on this challenge? – Oris

Great questions. The Million Mission is a first-hand account of me trading my own $100,000 account to $1 million. Along the way, I’m sharing my highs, lows, learning experiences, and daily market news that can impact my (and your) portfolio.

I will share my positions and sizes when I make them. You do not need to start with $100,000. If you decide to follow along in your own account, start with an amount you are comfortable with. Remember, this is a high-risk high-reward strategy.
