Thank You – Responding to Your Email

Thank you for sending in questions and feedback!

I read every single email I receive. I hope this Saturday email can clarify any questions you may have.

Let’s get to it.

Any word on the most recent Bitcoin trade? Seems to have hit a ceiling. – Jeff

Thanks for the email, Jeff! The momentum seems to have stalled. We made a few dollars on the trade – nothing to write home about. Let’s sell our position on any strength in the coming days.

I see that you recommend a small position in crypto. May I also assume you recommend a similar position in gold or gold stocks? – Kevin

Yes! I believe any long-term portfolio should be allocated both to cryptocurrencies and gold. The reasoning for each is different, but I believe a balanced, long-term portfolio should hold both. You can read my thoughts on Bitcoin here. And for gold, I’d recommend reading the great insights from Jim Rickards via the Paradigm website.

Bitcoin has never acted as an alternative to the USD. That may change but Bitcoin has historically been a risk on trade. – Brett

Thanks for the email, Brett! I never said Bitcoin is an alternative to the USD. Obviously this would not be true. Try buying groceries in Bitcoin and see what happens. I did say, however, that a trade war could be beneficial to Bitcoin as increased inflation can decrease the value of fiat currencies.

I went back and read all of your prior emails… it appears your first trade didn't get disclosed for two days after you placed it. Given the M/W/F/Sat schedule, can you consider posting contemporaneously with trades? – Mick

Thanks for following up, Mick! Yes, I’ll be sending out more timely trade alerts in the future. Even if an opportunity arises outside the typical M/W/F/Sat email schedule, I’ll send another separate email to alert readers.

At what point do you cut your losses if a trade doesn't go your way? – Paul

Great question. I’m buying stocks/options on high-quality companies when they’re out of favor for various reasons. If a position initially moves against me, it will depend whether there is any company-specific news causing the stock reaction. If not, likely I’ll look to add to my position.

I am receiving your Million Mission newsletter. You say it’s affiliated with Paradigm Press. Why can't I access it through Paradigm's website? – Sue

The Million Mission has its own standalone website. You can access it here to read any previous alerts! Thanks for the email, Sue.
